I don't understand it anymore. On a 100% anti Gesink hill he is suddenly 4th? Like Fleche Wallone 2008.

Weird.

Rodriguez as expected :D

Well, that stage was rather..................................boring.
Not even 5 minutes of fun and a very predictable finale.

Yes Gesink MOTM.

That was hilarious. Completely stupid, but entertaining.

This road was not made for bike riding. :D

So where was the 30% part? Didn't get pointed out on TV.

Froome recovered somewhat in the end, down to 4th now in GC? No still 3rd at 51", VV 4th at 1'20"

TDF is showing in Froome.

Yeah, but 22 seconds is not too bad. Podium is still within reach. On the real mountains he should be better than Valverde.

So Froome looked pretty strong at the top, and came back at them after losing so much on the very steep part - looks like he had the wrong gearing - just like Wiggins last year - surprising Sky screwed up again with insisting on their OSymmetrics...

Was weird, he looked good today, some of the stages coming should suit him better. Let's hope he can continue to Improve.

Purito might have won the stage but I think Contador won it on the mental side.

Saterday we'll see something exciting :D

Purito won? NO WAI

Why Contador decided to push ahead and let JROd get on his wheel I will never understand.
Apparently, Contador doesn't think Purito is a threat yet, or at least as much of a threat as Froome. He only pushed ahead when he saw the Sky rider getting close wasn't Froome, but Henao.

I hope this is the last of these stages. A few of these are good, but they went overboard.

Agreed. We get it. There are some relatively short but steep climbs in Spain that favor explosive climbers. Let's move on.

Totally understandable though. Gesink can sustain his efforts really well, while others who can go faster on the climbs, crack much harder than him.
Eventually he just catches up with the puncheur type climbers.
Whenever there's no possibility of recovering, Gesink can climb with the best.
That's why yesterday's TT didn't suit him at all(with a descend and many corners), while the flat Tour TT's should've suited him much better.

I have no idea what Igor Anton had planned with that attack. Halfhearted and with a teammate in front..

His team mate has no chance regardless of the attack, he simply isn't that good here
