Davis was dropped on the flat yesterday and lost half an hour, I doubt he has the condition it needs to win a stage like today's at the moment

Davis did drop out the back yesterday and given that he has been in really good form it may suggest that he is sick. That could well explain Clarke and Meyer getting in the break today. If Davis is sick, then they may leave Sulzberger and Mitch Docker to try for the sprint if the other boys get caught.

Well, he did get into the breakaway earlier today, one of those pulled back, so he's not feeling that bad.

Anyway, the break will probably not succeed, the time difference has not even been up to 4 minutes, for the past 40k the bunch has kept them between 3 - 3.30.

An echelon of deadbeats, starring Jurgen Van Den Broke.

I see the tumble-weed has started to blow down the Vuelta streets, today.

It is pretty chaotic at the front of the peloton now--Argos and Lotto can't control it.
