Piti hitched a ride all this way, first on Purito and now on Quintana, it's only natural that he is faster than Contador now, but AC is still stretching the gap to Purito.

Saxo has been brilliant, chapeau!

Yes! Absolutely brilliant. This is the 1st time I have seen AC show strategic smarts. And, he is riding like the AC pre-pop. Good show.

Valaverde is going to leapfrog Purito and then there will be an angry war on Bola for 2nd and 3rd.

The successrate of the Riis classic has gone down a lot in the last couple of years. I am surprised to see it worked today. Unfortunately, it never worked in the past TdF.

In the past they never rode with the legend. Unless you quote TDF 2011 in the equation.

Kudos to Contador...he seems to have this Vuelta unless he completely self-detonates between here and Navacerrada (Bola del Mundo), and he's won this race, it's not like Rodriguez lost it. Hats off to him...

Valverde is coming close but it doesn't matter that much.

Contador needs to win though :D

Although they didn't do anything besides having guys on the break, it worked out perfectly for Movistar.
