Only from recently I'm an active member but what I've learned is that in normal road racing forum people are witty, interesting and the atmosphere is cozy. In clinic things can tend to be a little bit paranoid but even that can be fun sometimes and who says sports in general didn't give enough reasons for suspicion and skepticism!
Anyways, I guess someone brushed you off and you are a very sensitive person.
