Well said but the route of TDF 2012 was the worst ever, IMHO.Descender said:Watch out for the worst GT route in history. I don't think I'm exaggerating.

It seems I was too optimistic when I said we'd get 11 MTFs. It looks more like it's going to be 12 or even 13.
I fear I was too soft when I rated last year's route with the worst possible mark.

jens_attacks said:bring on cerler and naranco!
no more navacerrada and covadonga this year pls.
Asturiano said:I wish the Angliru stage could include the same climbs Cycling Magazine "Ciclismo A Fondo" (the first press which talked about Angliru) showed us on that first article about this big mountain. It was a big tribute to Angliru.
A mouintain stage with:
Cabruñana (Third Category)
San Lorenzo (Special Category)
Cobertoria (First Category)
Cordal (First Category)
Angliru (Special Category)
It would be the hardest stage of Vuelta history, I think.

It's part of the great Unipublic conspiracy.Descender said:What is the point of clogging the last stage with climbs when 1) it is the last stage and 2) the finish is atop the country's hardest climb, meaning everybody will wait till the end?

yes to both the questions.McLovin said:Or is it that they don't do multiple climbs stages? It's Spain. I know on mapmyride.com you can make great stages. But, did you checked the quality of the road? Just saying.
Don't be rude!Eshnar said:yes to both the questions.
It's Spain, not Denmark. There are climbs there.
