Contador, quintana, valverde, aru (not sure yet), pozzovivio, purito CONFIRMED!!

Hopefully Froome will race it. Now put Wiggins in the team to add some drama.

Best GT this year, easily :D

Any more riders that will race it to make the hype more real?????

I guess Betancur could manage to show up.

Perhaps his Royal Hornerness will want to defend his crown

I don't think Contador will ride it if he wins the Tour. He would be turning up tired against fresh opponents, with a team scraped up from the Tinkoff-Saxo C list.

I can almost guarantee you Contador won't be there, despite what he said earlier this year. And if he starts, he won't be worth anything. He'll be completely knackered after the Tour. ;)

He has nothing to gain unless the Tour goes all wrong and he wants to rescue his season.

If Aru properly goes for it I wonder how if his trainer (Slongo) has managed to get him those 2 kg lighter that they said they would do in the future under the giro.

Also Warren Barguil will hopefully return.

Could see Chaves make his GC debut too.

Would be a couple of nice climbers to throw into the mix.

I'm not sure if the Vuelta suits the Angel very well but I hope he goes for it making an awesome 1-2 attack with old man Vincenzo!

24? he is young as a professional cyclist (only started properly racing at 19) but he should do fine age wise

Didn't realise he was such a late starter. Even still though, it's a big jump from only having done one GT in your life to doing two in top form in one season. I suspect he might be a bit like Majka in last year's Vuelta. Not terrible but not a real force.

One of the reasons he is hyped as the next great great italian gc hope is that he has so much more potensial for his age than most others since he was a late starter(and a 24 year old isn't exactly on his peak anyways)

Contador has never been so clear in that he wants to race the Vuelta after the Tour. He'll race it.

I'd honestly prefer him to skip it and prepare for next year. As Zinoviev posted, he'll have nothing to gain. Hope he's sensible enough to realize this himself.

Dan Martin should ride too, although probably for a stage win and World's training rather than GC, but who knows?;)
