Vuelta 2014 super hype!!

Does anyone think Betancur could actually do well in the Vuelta... I have him in my fantasy team atm but not sure if I'll keep him

Problem with the Vuelta is that it is difficult to be sure of the form of riders unlike Giro or TDF for which there are specific preparatory races. Also a lot of the riders take it easy before the race.
Those who did good at the Giro may find lack of motivation to go thru hard training again- Quintana, Uran, Aru
Those who did good at the TDF need resting and may not be in form at the start- Pinot, Valverde
Those who did bad at the TDF cannot sustain TDF form for 3 months- Froome, Contador, Talansky
Only those who did bad at the Giro have something to prove- Purito, Martin
Which leads up to an exciting race
