Anacona new leader?

Not much of a leader is it? Anyway almost everybody on the team will get their chance in the Vuelta methinks.

Maybe Cunego really needs to be upgraded with the bookies.

For the race it's a shame. A good Papy is always entertaining, as cycling matters and for his interviews.

If you look at moral point of view, it's rubbish to not let him start. In which other sport you can't use medicines for bronchitis?

But still it's a good decision by Lampre. Because someone who fights for three weeks already to get rid of his bronchitis, shouldn't be racing, but resting. He would not have played a major factor either with his current state.

This year's Giro win was controversial.
We will always wonder "What if...?" regarding this year's Tour winner.
And now we will always wonder "What if...?" regarding this year's Vuelta winner.

The only what if that matters in relation to the Vuelta is if Contador and Froome were at 100% for it....and I'm sure that they'll both be pretty close to it when it comes to the business end of the Vuelta. Horner is irrelevant.
