Does Kirby still think he'll win?

No that's not Kruijswijk, looked like Tolhoek.
A little while back they showed Kruijswijk at the back
He's at the middle of the group, I think you got confused, but nevermind. Its irrelevant now.
No, definitely not. Eurosport commies also recognized him. It was the first LottoJumbo rider anyway. It was a little while ago as I wrote. I see he's in the middle now.
Tolhoek is getting caught just now.

Still a long ways to the top

Pantano hanging on to the group by the skin of his teeth

Hard to believe that's the same Pantano who set up Contador in a superb way was it in Paris Nice at the start of the season?

Another Sky yawnfest.

I don't blame sky for the lack of attacking racing by the other teams, just a shame some of the others don't try and gang up on them and fire attacks off the front to make sky get out of their tempo riding style a bit more often. Its almost like they've jedi mind tricked the others into just sitting and following.

The others realize by now that attacking is likely to be suicide

We always talk about teams ganging up on Sky but they won't do it. No one wants to sacrifice themselves if another team will benefit.

if there is a critical mass up front and not much mountain left those GC guys with the legs should go
they'll have 15km of descent to recover

When strong riders ride together against them it can cause carnage, look at formigal last year, too often it seems that others are happy to ride on the shoulder and race for the podium. So often at the Tour it seemed like Bardet, Aru etc did not want to attack Froome with a possibility of risking there on chances of a podium for a chance to win, so they sat and sat and sat and rolled through with him.

If they could they would but they cant. Yates has bridged.

Yeah a better strategy would probably have been to let Simon set a strong tempo first and then have Adam attack.

Surely all the other teams should be criticised then? If they've basically conceded to Sky before any racing has happened, they are the one's to blame? If Sky are going to ride at 'x' power up a climb, if no-one is going to try and knock them off the tempo they ride at, why should they do anything different?

2nd statement contradicts the first. If Yates can bridge then so could better climbers.

Not sure this was the right tactic by Orica, now that they have backed off Sky is in full control again.

If Simon Yates is hunting for a stage win I'm officially giving up on that totally useless team.

Pretty sure Simon has less legs than Skys doms. He lost so much time in the first week. I can't see him leading the main group with 4 or 5 Sky domestiques still aboard. They could get rid of him instantly. Why not attacking and see who can bridge later on?

I think you are totally missing the point. The infernal pace set by Sky simply prevent any of them from attacking, that is the whole point of the train.

This time it's a slow Sky pace.
