That leadout was just too good. Not that Sagan looked stronger anyway, but my grandmother could have won with that leadout.
At least nice to see Pöstlberger pöstlbergering again :D

It's not so difficult winning when you have a leadout, are allowed to block both sides of the road with yourself and your fading leadout man so nobody else even has the chance to sprint in time...

Ehm, are you saying this wasn't a regular sprint (or that it shouldn't be considered as one)?

It just struck me that they're basically filling the whole road, and yes, I think it was a bit of a dirty trick, though unfortunately within the rules.

And if Sagan had done the same I wouldn't have batted an eyelid, so it's not to be taken too seriously. I was just a bit annoyed that we didn't get to see whether Sagan would have been competitive because he had to stop pedaling when Viviani traveled across the road.

Nothing wrong with the sprint. He just beat Sagan out of the blocks and took his line. If Sagan had reacted slightly quicker Viviani would have had to have gone on the other side. Sagan was balked but it was a clean sprint.

Well, he had positioned himself to the left of Viviani's wheel because they were in the right-hand side of the road, and when he launches his sprint he of course tries to go to the left but Viviani just goes all the way over there.

It doesn't seem particularly crazy because the sprint was extremely strung-out - but if there had been another cluster of sprinters diagonally to the left behind Viviani, he would just have swerved them all.

I don't know, I'm just annoyed.
