Surely its the other way round. MAL was the stronger rider, and should have won the stage. But he didn't attack just follwed, refused to work with Quintana and ultimately ended up second but still with enough strength to outsprint Valverde.

Yates continues his great season. Another great ride. Why was Lopez holding? Very strong ride today and he should attack more often. Quintana just gives up every time when he gets away.
