Stage profiles are already on the Vuelta web site
Only the first 8 stages, I get internal server errors trying to access the rest.

A sterrato climb with a descent finish on stage 6, who blackmailed Javier Guillén into agreeing to that and where can I thank them?

The later stages you can access, the week 2 ones you get the error

Going by the transfers, it seems like they flipped the order of some of the Andalucian stages at the last second? Would also explain why the Loja stage is a full week earlier than rumoured.

The Andorra stage is 104 km and finish in Andorra la Vella after Ordino and Comella. Its actually hard to make it much worse than this.....

Looks like way too many sprints but my expectations were absolutely rock bottom and some mountain stages are very nice surprises.

Also TT surprisingly long.

Three flat stages is week 3 is disappointing but doesn't look too bad overall.

Edit: Didn't realise one is an ITT.

Stage 4 is Andorra is really short but it does provide launchpads for long attacks (although it is only stage 4).

Going through the whole thing: stages 6, 12 and the final weekend are legitimately exciting, the rest of the route definitely isn't. Andorra should have been harder and there are too many easier days, especially given that some of the flatter stages are in areas where you could have done something more exciting (stages 2, 8, 11, 13 and 15 are all obvious examples). Overall, it's a decent effort considering that they had to change so much at such a late hour with the Canaries pulling out.

Ordino is far too easy IMO
Ordino is much better from west than east. Almost 10 km at 7 % from that direction.

But Beixalis as the last climb would have been better. After Envalira they could have done Ordino east, then continued south to do Galina, then Comella on the way north again before Beixalis and descending to Andorra de la Vella. It still wouldn't have been much more than about 140-145 km.
