Staune-Mittet's attack was a lot more dangerous than what Barrenetxea did. If THJ has swerved a little more to the left, they would have hit the spectators.

Another Basque victory.

Barrenetxea won although Johannessen was not too happy. Seemed to move over a bit in front of him.

Under UCI rules this is relegation as there was clear deviation that abrupted the sprint of other rider.

But who cares about UCI rules... They are applied so inconsistently.

Also, pathetic whining from THJ.

Nope, he neither obstructed nor endangered TJH, and then deviation is fully allowed.

Sprints
2.3.036 Riders shall be strictly forbidden to deviate from the lane they selected when launching
into the sprint and, in so doing, endangering others.
(text modified on 1.01.05).

5 Intermediate sprints and final sprint
5.1 Deviation from the chosen line that obstructs or endangers another rider or irregular sprint (including pulling the jersey or saddle of another
rider, intimidation or threat, blow from the head, knee, elbow, shoulder, hand, etc.).

Good racing for the stage win today, although the GC was already wrapped up. And nice scenery with Gibraltar in the background

somehow Pidcock gained a spot in GC. No bunch sprint protocol in Andalucia, so I guess they recorded a gap in the sprint (behind Hoelgaard etc).

Huh? Considering he's in third place on the podium in the picture from the ceremony, it really doesn't look like he gained a spot.
