20 replies and no one has commented on these godawful profiles yet? What the hell am I looking at, my eyes are bleeding.
Nevertheless, a race that has been won back to back by my glorious Fuglsang is always worth looking out for, will keep an eye on it.
Double Angliru stage 2 a bit stiff for February I think

Mas and Quintana should be able to win this between them somehow but it's still early doors in the season. Pidders another candidate or maybe if we're lucky a total unknown surprises us all.

I'm looking forward to the Van Gils vs. Pidcock fight(s) here. Should be a good head to head battle.

They do at least refer to this year's race as the 71st edition, so they haven't completely wiped the other one from their memory.

For those who don't know:

The 2024 Vuelta a Andalucía Ruta del Sol (English: Tour of Andalucia Route of the Sun) was a road cycling stage race that was scheduled to take place between 14 and 18 February 2024 in the autonomous community of Andalusia in southern Spain. However, due to farmers protests in the region, the race was shortened to a single 5 kilometer time trial, as the race organizers could not guarantee the safety of the race.

Having watched the desert UAE Tour stage just now it's so refreshing to see some greenery (pink blossoms on some trees!), spectators, and even a cloudy sky.

I have tuned in via RHD’s favorite streaming site and it’s a brilliant race going on.

Looks like Sivakov wont catch Leknessund and now Pidcock has attacked from the bunch in the downhill with a small group chasing him.

I don't think it was a smart attack tho afterwards. Wasted energy for no reason
No he's done a lot here unfortunately for him, not as easy against 3 UAE/Van Gils with only Howson to help but should get back on the descent.
