I dunno but from Hugo's comments it seems like the Danish naming customs are different from the Spanish.

Well technically he is right, we always use the last name. However, Valgren is always reffered to as Valgren and not Andersen by the Danish media and commentators and so on.

In Denmark you can have an unlimited number of first names, but you must have one, an unlimited number of middle names and exactly one surname. How you refer to someone is, I'd say, up to the person being referred to. Michael M?rk?v isn't being referred to by his surname, but by his first and middle name. (Probably) no one would know who you referred to if you called him Michael Christensen. The same way Michael Valgren is referred to without his surname. On the other hand someone like Chris Anker S?rensen is being referred to by all of his first name, middle name and surname (I think Anker is a middle name to him, but it can be his second first name as well, or, for another person, a surname. That's right you could be named Anker Anker, I don't know if you could be named Anker Anker Anker as well, but I don't think so.).

Wow. What a ludicrous system.

Very animated and fun to watch final 5km.

Sky was at or near the front throughout the final 5km and Kennaugh made a couple of moves to no avail.

Tried similar stuff at Oman last year and overall it worked at that race. On another note seasonal debut of the Sky Train likely tomorrow.

Alberto was suprisingly alone after the climb, and it was only a 3. category. Not a good sign with Hazallans coming up tomorrow!

Sky try something and it doesn't work = fail.
Sky ride on the front and nullify all attacks = boring, bots ect ect

:D

Farrar was in ultimate position and then just stopped? Weird.

It's a new safety feature the riders asked the UCI to implement. Whenever Farrar's power meter senses a sprint coming up, a hidden mechanism adds resistance to his bike, removing him from the situation before he can cause an unfortunate accident.

Meh, not really a big deal that close to the finish.

Meh, Basso and Jesus finished in the main peloton. Paulinho and Petrov finished 8 minutes down so hopefully they've been saving energy. Not that it really matters though, Alberto will just ride the Sky train like at the 2014 Vuelta.

That was impressive stuff by Lobato! Such a long sprint, such a powerful attack out of the back. It's not like Degenkolb and Bole are "Laufkundschaft" as we say in German.

So Kennaugh tried to win the stage and grab the leaders jersey today? What does that mean for tomorrow? Normally Froome should attack early on at Hazallanas!

Contador is looking strong. But so is Basso. Let's see which card Tinkoff will play tomorrow.

Hopefully Hazallanas will succeed as an appetizer for the upcoming cycling season!
