They are vaunting tomorrow's stage but the climb (they said 35Km@5.5%*) is very far from the finish so any organized team can pursuit in the plateau... However, many people might end up OTL

*: Using satellite data it seems longer like 44.5Km@5.4%

So, today the "breakaway" Sevilla, Ortega, LAverde and Ramirez
They have more than 4 minutes over the "pack".
Descending towards Valle del Aburrá, and then it will be flat for 23Km
Therefore, it's a race of two (Gomez and Camacho are out of contention)

What a performance by Hernan Aguirre, he's only 19 years old.
BTW, what has hppened to Salvador Moreno, the young rider who was 2nd in the 2014 MTT, is he still rding? I can't find any results for him in 2015.

Damn it Sevilla :(, disappointing result from Ortega in the final ITT.

Great ride from Aguirre again, wasnt the one I was expecting to win the youth classification and especially not expecting him to make the top 10 in the final GC!

For me he was the favorite to win the youth classification. But not to top-10 indeed. Last year the winner of the young riders jersey was not placed in the top-20.

Yes, his abandon was planned. In an interview with AS he said that he would quit the race, get a week of rest, and then travel with the national team on August 17th, so tomorrow.

In May he beat the hell out of Babyface (and everyone else) in the Vuelta a Antioquia's mountain TT: http://www.revistamundociclistico.c...reno-gano-la-cronoescalada-a-santa-elena.html
Thanks for the answer, I couldn't find any results for 2015 on cqranking.com and procyclingstats.com
He really seems to be a beast in MTTs

I don't know if this goes here or in another section but, for those calculating the power on the MTT, here are some data for Aguirre:
Distance: 16.2 Km
Vertical: 901 m

I know for a fact that they started at EPM building (all reports plus pictures with the building behind): So this is 1.7Km flat before the climb (San Diego)
Hence they stopped at Texaco gas station, which is around 1Km before the climb (@7%).

Oh, BTW: I cannot discuss Salvador Moreno in this forum
