Doubt he'll be targetting GC. He'll most likely try to win the ITT in the middle of the race and disappear before Madrid to focus in the WC ITT, where he's never picked up a medal, and really ought to be able to.

I think it was 50 50 between him and Martin in Mendrisio before he got screwed with that bike. Thats painful. 40 k of pain for absolutely nothing.

Personally I just cant see Wiggins getting motivated for the Vuelta.

A quick chat with Andy Schleck may change his mind :D

lol.

Regarding losing a race due to mechanical or regarding getting motivated for the Vuelta;)

Come on, the race starts in Benidorm. Who cares about mechanicals? :D

Yes and Cavendish would have won if you skip the mountain stages, the mid-mountain stages and the time trial

Are you serious? Come on.

Of course not. Read it again.

I agree with most of the text, but not this one. Menchov followed di Luca(!!!) on sharp uphill finishes in 2009 Giro.

Other than that, Menchov is not great on those finishes. I

Menchov is as good as cadel in the mountains no doubt, but I agree overall cadel is a better rider. Even if he had ridden I can't see how he would have beaten cadel.

Contador flew away whenever he pleased, except for that one bad day, like I said.

What race where you watching? Luz-Ardiden: lost 30 ish. Plateau de Beille lost 2 seconds to Schleck. Galibier lost loads of time. Alpe D huez was really no stronger than Schleck. He only got away because he was so far behind.

Stronger maybe, but not much. I think Andy was cooked after Galibier, if he were good he should have tried to dropp Evans since his gap was short he also finished totally exhausted at the end, by other hand Contador seemed good in Alpe d´huez and the TT.

Lol means laughing out loud.

Andy was cooked on Alpe. Otherwise he would have tried to shed Cuddles.
I know what "lol" means. In this case, "haha just kidding", as opposed to "haha your opinion makes me laugh".

And Contador was cooked on Alpe. Otherwise he wouldn't have lost to Rolland.

He took the whole Telegraphe for him self and was still better than Andy at Alpe.

We were talking about Andy compared to Contador not Contador compared to Rolland. Besides Contador climbed faster than Rolland up the Alpe despite having attacked from so far out.

Way to miss the point.

there are some ****s on this forum of which no matter how petty, insignificant or irrelevant their arguments are, they need to totally derail a thread just to make themselves feel superior and important.

You mean like you did earlier in every small race (like TdP) where you always had to start a discussion on whether or not said small race was less important than the TDU? ;)

To keep it some what on topic:

How many stages will Sagan win? And it's obvious he'll win the points classification :D
