Didn't he crash of a flat wide road last year?

This is not to say that flat wide roads are more dangerous, this is just to say that freak accidents can happen anywhere on the road

Now that's something interesting: Devolder yes, since june he's focused on the Vuelta, don't mind his ITT last monday, that was an off-day, so he said...

I wonder if he will deliver anything at all...i hope for him but fear the worst...

In this article:

...all the team DS's outline their plans for the Vuelta. For Vacansoleil, Poels and Devolder will both be protected GC riders. They say the latter overtrained in the spring and that's why he was poor shape. Let's see...

it certainly wasn't flat where he crashed, they were doing 65-70 km/h.

The road was wide and straight. There must have been something unusual to cause a crash in those conditions (a pothole, a crack or something).

He certainly crashed in 2008 in the same descent of Alto del Cordal they do before Angliru. He should also pay attention to the descents of Ancares and San Lorenzo.

If I recall correctly there was a huge branch in the middle of the road when he crashed last year

Has the presentation been? If not is there a link. I remember last year the lights went out or something.

Also anyone know the official song of this years Vuelta?

Big thanks to Preciados for last years anthem "Otra Opportunidad".

Most awesome of all was of corse Nena Daconte "En que Estrella estara", the official song of the 2006 Vuelta.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8TrnbWaFWTc

The song would become a major hit- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZ1H-e8Z-LY

This was however a good song played at the January route presentation about Costa Blanca the setting of the first few stages.

Guys, please remember of the "unwrite rule" about the key stages: Only The Hitch can create the topics and make the introduction of the key stages.
