Has the presentation been? If not is there a link. [/url]

Don't know. But if they arrived in carriages in a Colosseum-lookalike arena I'd rather not watch it tbh...

lots of talk about climbs but not much about the GC hopes last while.

Anton for me, hes a really climber course suits him and can hold on in the TT, think he had nibali last year and pu enough time into on climbs. Expecting something from Brajokiv and Van den B

Here be A4 page of profiles (3.6mb)

I can't work out why imageshack didn't give me a thumbnail code this time? Is that a pay feature these days?

That's my useless contribution to information, the profiles downloaded from skyfans website slapped into rough rows and irregular columns and stage number, day of week and date titles. I also wedged climbbybike profiles of the 6 major finishing climbs into spare at the bottom of a vaguely A4 shaped piece of paper.

One thing I don't recall being mentioned is about Menchov, Stage 11 could be his Waterloo given he is never good after a rest day. Its not the hardest of climbs but still if he wants to win he has to avoid a bad day there (of course with stage 4 and 9 done he could already be out of it) and I think the climbers will have to actively pursue time on this stage given his track record.

Goog work, but there is mistake in the profiles. Stage 14 finishes in La Farrapona, not San Lorenzo.

There's no profile of Farrapona in climbbybike and the one in salite.ch is wrong. This one looks fine:

They climb San Lorenzo just before Farrapona but that poster has the west side on it, which they descend. They climb the east side this year for the first time:

Caught another mistake. Stage 17 finishes in Peña Cabarga:

This is such bull****. Dinner should only be for those riders good enough to get there in the time limit. What's the point of having a dinner time if you're going to get jokes like cav ride a car and get there an hour late.

Rojas went through the trouble of having dinner at the stipulated time. This is a travesty.

For goodness' sake. This is all making a mountain out of a molehill. He'll be penalised 25 slices of pepper, and that's going to be the end of it. Some will complain that it's unfair that he lose that pepper, but really, if that's all the punishment is going to be you have to wonder if they need to create stronger incentives for people to turn up to dinner at the designated time. Otherwise everybody will just stroll in late at whatever time they feel like if they don't like pepper, safe in the knowledge that they won't get turned down for a meal.

Bjarne Riis may have some ideas to share on the subject, but those where for people to go to bed at the designated time.

Hi everyone,

Going to some of the Vuelta stages around Santander and then into the Basque country, just wondering does anyone on here know of any places I can rent a road bike in the north of Spain? I have tried searching online with no luck but maybe some of you have experience of cycling in this part of spain. Sorry if its a bit off topic.

Thanks!
