lol it would be one of the great tactical screw ups in the recent history of the sport if they allowed a sprint to happen.

I presume the the wind means they're rotating at the front and working for Knox so won't have much chance to attack bennett, they'll just keep it together, and hope that Jacobson can stay with Bennett up the climb to the line.

I very much doubt it. They’ll pull for a long time, sure, but late on they will be pinging off the front. They’d be fools to bring Bennett to an uphill sprint and they aren’t fools. I can’t see them sacrificing a possible stage for Gilbert etc to eke out a few last seconds for Knox. Knox will gain a lot anyway, Jakobsen can shadow Bennett just in case it comes back, but other guys will attack late.
