De Gendt didn't make Madrazo's life any easier.
Some tired sprinters' legs close to the season's end.

Why wouldn't DQS bring Hodeg to the Vuelta? He's the main guy that has beaten Bennett lately in a pure sprint

Wonder how bad are Gaviria's injuries.
Doesn't look so bad although been dropped.

He won't bridge, it seems.

It's so lame to see degenkolb these days. That crash didn't ruin his career but he isn't even close to his best level

Terrible sprint. Everybody all over the place, cutting off opponents. Very unfair, we are lucky there wasn't a huge pile-up. Hardly anyone could actually put together an unobstructed sprint. Oh, and Walscheid can't position himself at all. From 3rd to 15th in one corner.
Not that any of this had any effect on the winner...

The fact that he rides uphill more slowly than him.

Cool. Any useful examples of that?

I'd probably pick Jakobsen over Hodeg as well, because the latter is a bit more irregular at this point, not because he's a worse climber.
