So what we learnt:
  • Racing is better when Sepp Kuss is removed from it (again).
  • Sepp Kuss isn't actually as comfortable as he looks when he's sitting there doing sweet FA and scaring everybody out of attacking
  • Jumbo are capable of winning despite their tactics, not because of them.

So Roglic was the best climber in this race??? .....rubbish

Carapaz,Carthy and Kuss were better

Ineos were useless today

Should have had a rider in the break like Amador or Van Baarle

Froome goto improve his form but Carapaz deserved a better team

Kuss? lol, no.

Or it might be that this was a move because the Carapaz transfer and Ineos' poaching of riders developed in Egüés really angered a lot of Abarcá loyalists, and so the guys in the car, especially if they were Abarcá lifers like Txente and Lastras, might have instructed them to help Rogla chase Carapaz out of spite.

Brilliant ride by Gaudu.
Chapeau!

Should've Carapaz and Carthy ridden together against Rogla (from further out), maybe they'd have made up the deficit.
Defender outpowered Grenadiers this way.

Not a bad action at the end.

Kuss looked bad today imo. Considering how he usually looks, his face was very read and he was breathing out of his mouth, and was doing it quite early that climb.

I don’t know, Kuss looked in trouble today for quite a while, unlike most other times. He wasn’t comfortable today, but he looked bad. Most other days he’s been imperiously strong.

I know Soler and Carapaz are friends. Perhaps mental lapse on Soler's part to deny his friend an opportunity to eat out the time deficit

Might have been even more satisfying than Sagan throwing a temper tantrum about his declassification in the Tour.

It was pretty dumb that Jumbo played train in that headwind today. It nearly cost them the race and they had no need to do it.
