Not really surprising for Fraile and Schachmann to have left the race. Both have looked well off the pace of their usual abilities and appear to have almost no chance of gaining a good result at any point in the remainder of the race.

yes. and straight from the MTB OG (gold medal) and hampered preparation (collarbone) for it... i'll be pleasantly surprised if he'll actually get to Madrid.
