Communicado Official: Cobertoria MTFStage finish is shortened by 300m to avoid the mess of riders going down just as they cross the line in that narrow steep final section of the climb.
This sets a precedent for Gamoniteiru.

yeah maybe, I just saw him dropping very early on climbs whereas in the tour he was really on fire all the time.he did a decent first TT and there were no other stages for him to really show himself

Will the Eye King be inspired by the spirit of Pereiro? Still in red on TT day?

So frustrating they could have gone directly from this to the finish or a descent finish in Guadalupe. However, if this serves like the Dauphiné's logistics tests they do for the Tour (since there is no pro level Vuelta a Extremadura this isn't really an option for Unipublic when it comes to this climb at least) for how capable it is of hosting a pro race, and it works and they can bring it back in a more decisive spot in the stage in the future. And cycling porn begins.
Lame. They can't even drop the sprinters in the break.
It'd be nice as a 3rd week mountain stage with the loop in the opposite direction and the finish in Gaudalupe. So frustrating they could have gone directly from this to the finish or a descent finish in Guadalupe. Jumbo Visma roadblock team
Col de la Lusette plan. At least with 70km to go it makes sense, though it would be nice for us as viewers to have an idea who's feeling good and who isn't in the mix.Jumbo Visma roadblock team
Traffic jam in the pelotonGap to breakaway going up on the climb lol.
