I know I attracted the eternal wrath of Zoef-Lightning when I proclaimed that Intermarché looked set to be the weakest side in WorldTour history but they have spent most of this year proving me correct.

But I have to say that what they are doing in this race is really impressive. Not only the stints in red for Taaramäe (and his stage) and Eiking but yesterday they had three riders in the main group at the end and they are always able to lead in the peloton to honor the jersey. Chapeau.

It is quite mysterious, actually, how they and DSM who were arguably the two teams with the worst seasons until August, both have managed to shine so brightly in this race.
