I had a strong feeling with all the Ineos, Jumbo, Bahrain talk, Movistar would be the strongest team in the Vuelta again. It was only the first MTF but they looked great in the end.

Piva being a DS for them is enough to explain why they sometimes have questionable tactics, the guy was really bad at BMC.
A nice win for the Estonian elite and Aru looked not bad at all, lost 5sec because of a small gap between him and Valverde, but that was a decent showing.
