MAL and Yates going well today and so still with a shot at the podium is good for the race. The two riders most likely to animate the race at the weekend. Apart from Ayuso, who seems to attack at every opportunity :)

'Watching' this on PCS. What happened to Hindley?
What happened to Hindley is being completely overmatched in this Vuelta compared to the Giro where he got away with strolling through until the last MTF, using his good endurance, recovery and climbing ability to win the race on Passo Fedaia.

the ITT turned out to be more or less what was expected from Roglic & Remco, so it was good. MAL's performance was mind blowing and perhaps hinting his return to fight for podium. Yates did well too, Mas was good considering his poor tt skills.

While Remco was successful widening his gap on Roglic, it all comes down to how he's able to manage this 2 weeks without blowing up.

it aint' over YET

Nice recovery from Hart after his crash yesterday to move himself back into the top ten. Ineos have some cards to play. Carapaz is a pretty good dom to have in the high mountains.

Choo chooooo!! This is what I expected/hoped he could gain today. A lot of margin now to defend. Or just solo to the win on Sierra Nevada to prove a point

 Harsh, but possibly fair. The Giro was a terrible 'race'.

Remco's biggest threat is himself. I said the same thing about Pogacar. These riders are just so good and full of talent that they can overreact or waste extra energy. With a single bad day you have 3 climbers on your back already.
