I do think the organisers too the wrong circuit with how easy the climbs are. Circuit with the San Lorenzo Escorial climb would be much more brutal I think.

Evenepoel found himself in a breakaway with some proper climbers, and alas, it's a little harder to win. But still he made the best of it. I was most impressed with Van Eetvelt, another really good Belgian climbing talent (they used to have none, now they have like twenty of them).
