Don't blame them, blame the organizers for sticking microphones in their faces.
Yes I don't blame the riders, I just don't get why they're forced to speak, It doesn't come natural for most of them that's for sure. :joycat: It's not like they won an award and have to thank people for it :tearsofjoy:

CVV saying Kuss is a unicorn...
Remco saw 40 unicorns go up the road with his race.. CVV thinks Kuss has the TT skills to do this from day one? This race was all about one really really horrible day by a little Belgian energizer bunny.. Reverse the Jonas wins and Kuss went away solo we can start a unicorn discussion. Remco is a Chevy 350 and Kuss is a Volvo..

Because it's great, as long as the speaker is capable of more words than ''thanks guys!''.

I remember being there in Madrid when Nairo won, speaking to us as if he was the President.
Sepp may not be described by a Spaniard as fluent but he is definitely Spanish capable, Nairo? No but Kuss is capable, he can communicate

I don't know much about specific car engines but your writing style never ceases to crack me up! :D

Yes it is, even if it'll go down in history as a gift,
Here’s where I disagree slightly. Kuss is no Oscar Pereiro. Was he as strong as the other two? No he wasn’t, but he was stronger than the rest of the race, and had he skipped a GT and gone to altitude like Roglic and Jonas, then he may have climbed even better, which is a lot since he still put the likes of Mas, Ayuso, Almeida, Evenpoel, Vlasov, etc…

I have never doubted that Sepp has the physical capabilities to win a GT if he focused on it. His weakness has always seemed on the mental side of things. He is the best pure climber the USA has produced since Hampsten.

Roglic looked like he wanted to go for it too but then Kuss stopped pretty quick.

Vingegaard hit the resign button instantly. Weak effort. He should hope that there's no chugging time trial in the Tour next year

In Vingegaard's defense, Danish TV2 had just force-fed him a McCrispy chicken. That was too many calories for one day.

Unchained helped me. This may be just the beginning of the Sepp show. Maybe all he needed was the confidence. Maybe he as it now :)
