Just looking at the classifications on Procyclingstats.. What does the purple letter ‘F’ mean against a handful of riders, Roglič, Poole, Kelderman etc…?

I have no idea. Can't be "Fell", because I know a fact several riders not marked also fell.

What's the weather forecast? Will it be dry when they go downhill from d'Ordino?

EDIT: It's not going to rain.

After the first two stages, expect the unexpected.

Yep..some snow will be seen in Andorra . Remco will shout and roar about being only used for entertainment (if only) , Adam Hansen will get on the blower. The Vuelta organisers will contact their Tissot guy with the abacus who is taking times and ask him to pick a spot somewhere there a few 'fans' with mobiles and say the stage GC time will be taken from the guy with the best camera on his phone but the stage will end with a few circuits of Andora by lamplight
That should do it

Hard fight for the break. Wouldnt be surprised if we see a breakaway without good climbers fight for the stage win.

Caruso far too good to give free time you would think, and if Lenny wanted to go in breaks he should've soft pedalled before the 9k banner yesterday like he used to

Actually surprisingly interesting with Caruso and Kamna there. Guaranteed a great battle and winner atleast, even if it's the break winning.

With two 'flat' stages in the next two days, it would make sense that some of the GC teams catch this breakaway but I am not sure any of them is going to be that interested and a rider like Kämna is not going to be easy to catch anyway.

However if they manage to get them, Roglič will probably take the sprint over Remco, Vingegård, Ayuso and Mas. Thomas, Vlasov and Almeida could lose a few seconds but its possible that someone has a real bad day as it should be cold up there.

It's a long way to go. It won't probably be the easiest break to chase down, but I refuse to believe that Caruso will be allowed to gain time in such way.

It looks like even if Roglic or Vingegaard win today, they'll have to drop a whole bunch of people to take over the GC leaders red jersey (which is something they probably don't want yet). So, will Jumbo drill it to see who's in good shape?
Edit - add- and Van Baarle moves to the front of the peloton. :)
