Why is Pacher pulling? What does this do for him?
It gets him second place. Side by side Wout is in the saddle turning it over easy, like he is at a spin class, Pacher is all over the place standing up trying to get on top of the gear and stay w Van Aert.....Frenchie booble head!! Parcher is riding an absolute great race and be sure that he has told Wout, I can help, just don't drop me.. Soler and his partner don't have same chemistry..

I actually like FDJ historically, mainly due to Pinot and I was fully behind them in the beer gate last year with Visma...
...but it also has to be said that they're strategically (the Gaudu drama two years in a row, their approach with Lenny Martinez, getting rid of Demare) as well as tactically (this year's approach in the Tour and today's exhibition) just absolutely abysmal.

I know that Wout would've won 90% of the time but at least race with some sort of brain, jesus.

Belgian pozzato shamelessly resorting to buying the services of other riders to help him win mickey mouse transition stages in the Vuelta, stages where Marc Soler is the only other rider trying to win.

This is a clear and obvious sign of desperation for small wins and indicative of his current status in the world cycling.

After blatantly applying an illegal chain lube to win e3 last year, on camera, I would never thought he could stoop to new lows

Shame on you quinten pascher.

There are people actually defending Pacher’s tactics. As soon as they went over the final climb there weren’t going to get caught. Just sit on. Does anyone think WVA would not ride the whole way in? The last thing WVA wanted is for it get complicated. Your only hope is to play on his mind that you are sat in his wheel for 20km. Would still have lost but at least it would give you a small shot. What he did was just dumb

And if they got caught, Pacher would have a better chance than in a two-up sprint against WVA.

He was 100% riding for second. You are a dead duck at that point, anyway you look at it.
