So, what was it, 37 seconds for Rog and Mas over Ben? ... Now recovery becomes an issue. Hard stages to come. Mas is looking very solid. ... Almost as if he used the TDF as training for this race.

You've got to love the unpredictability of this Vuelta! Who would have thought that Dunbar could win the stage from a bunch finish on the flat. Whilst in the GC race, O'Connor losing 38 seconds on that short final climb today may be an indication that he is weakening. Certainly the riders behind will smell blood now but tomorrow is a new day and I still wouldn't like to predict the winner.
