It could change the dynamics for tomorrows stage. Instead of being a nailed on sprint, it could be a breakaway. Also VWA was my favorite for stage 21.

A big shame for WvA and Visma who must have hoped that a couple of jerseys would give them something this year.
Not to be, and it did not look good, so hope he can recover 100%.

Zana is known as a good descender if I’m right? And Wout also. Just don’t know why they’re taking more risk than normal, surely when it’s wet.

Oh, ffs. Tragic once again for Wout.

No DNF yet still though, somehow Im still just hoping he was in shock and is able to get through

He literally hit a stone wall knee first, sliding at a considerable velocity. I am not optimistic. Would be great though if it was "only" pain.

Wout's come back from some really bad injuries. Think about that TDF time trial several years ago, when he crashed and got that severe leg laceration that could have ended his career. He had a follow-up surgery with a Belgian doctor who worked wonders.

Nys has ended his road season, right? Would be one helluva pivot.

Yeah last week, but he was open for a Worlds participation but SVTH said he doesn't want to select him to dom as he's similar to Van Aert. That's why I said but, but I don't expect it no.
