I think he has managed himself quite well. Started the Vuelta not in best shape but found his rhythm. We are now expecting every young rider to perform at high level in GTs from the get go. I reckon it's a bit unrealistic.

It's his fourth year in the WT and his third GT, it isn't the get go anymore.

And given that we're comparing to Almeida, he was 4th in his first GT after weeks in pink.

Would think it's Adria's job to close it, Lipo has 45 seconds in hand plus the packet in the tt, he could probably try for the stage today if Roglic lets him as there aren't many who will chase.
