I'm fairly new to watching cycling and was intrigued by Campanaerts' sprint yesterday followed by Wout's win. Campanaerts talked about difficulty in his contract negotiations with Lotto during TDF press and is going to Visma. So what do cyclists who are about to switch do? Do they start collaborating with future teammates? Do they go for wins? Do they do anything spiteful? Curious!

All of the above, or none of the above. Or they just don't do anything and DNF every race.
