Apparently Thymen Arensman was off to the hospital after the stage suffering from heat stroke. Hope he gets well soon.

The heat is undoubtedly one of the factors that impacted his perfomance. While it wasn't particularly hot during the opening weekend of the Giro, it's 35 degrees in Burgos these days. Arensman struggled with the heat in the 2022 Giro, where he even became unwell after a time trial. A year later, the same happened in the sweltering opening time trial of the Giro. He also pointed to the high temperatures after disappointing performances in the 2023 Dutch Time Trial Championships and the Vuelta a España. Before this year's Giro, he said he had been working on this issue. "I now live in Andorra, I'm more used to it," he said at the time.

Not so used to it, obviously.

Bora did hard the end of the stage, but O connor keep very well. anyway that is the way, You cant gibve hima relax day after yesterday effort. We will se if he pay this weekend, nit Now the aussi is the main favourite for La Vuelta. He has been 4th at trhe Tpur and the Giro, he is not an outsider, hge is a candidate to podium even without yesterday stage.
This is long and this is the way. I like Lipowitz but he has to be clear Roglic is his leader, and I think he has not much.

Congrats to Van Aert. But he is for me the only of the 5 super riders we have in this era present in La Vuelta, so it would be normal if he has 5 stages and another 3 stage podiums. He can win stages as tomorrow one or an massive sprint. He is not at his best, other way he could even fight for more.

But Visma has a choice to make. To focus with WVA to win stages and sacrify Kuss podium options (that way Kuss could as well go for stages), or focus more at Kuss options without sacrifiying WVA....
According what WVA say at the end: I promise you will be at the podium in Madrid, it looks is this one.
But if they focus in Kuss, Wout will have not so easy to win stages. they need each other to get his objetives..If Kuss help Wout as today and Wout doesnt help Kuss in the mountain stages he is not going to be podium and if the team dont help Woult he will have difficult to het much more stages...so difficult choice.
If Kuss loss one minute at Sierra Nevada, the team should focus more on WVA. There is no way to help each other as today.
