I really wonder what Vine or any domestique is going to miraculously do when Almeida drops. As if they can close Vingegaard down. If Almeida is as good as he thinks he is, he should follow Vingegaard, it's that simple.

Also you have at least Bjerg for example who can drop back, or even Vine in a worst case scenario.

People speaking like Almedia is chasing the Vuelta win...Maybe he is ensuring 2nd place which would be his best place in a GT and he needs to have a team to ensure that given what's to come in the mountains

Gall, Bernal, Pidcock, Ciccone, Hindley, O Connor , Pellizari are not out of it and some of these riders will be better as the race goes on
