When I entered in the thread and see the stage profile, I had to enter it twice to check if I hadn't entered in the thread from the previous stage.
They're all the same :sob:
Ahh but you are wrong grasshopper, tomorrows stage is 20K shorter and has a cat. 3 climb in the middle, before a very similar wussy cat 1 climb to the finish.

Anyone who follows Italian press that can tell me what is actually going on with Tiberi (need to know for my Wielermanager!!!)
After losing time on Cerler, Tiberi said he felt "empty", and going by yesterday's interview, that still seems to be the case. He is tired, the numbers are bad, and he doesn't recover as usual. The goal is to improve for the final week, and hopefully go for a result then.

It's also mentioned that he was sick after Poland, but it doesn't sound like he sees it as the main problem.

I think tomorrow and Friday are the two stages he wants to win. After how it went Sunday, I don't think Lidl will chase again, so the break should take it today.
Indeed, in hindsight sunday looked like preparation test for today to Jonas.

so far it looks like Vingegaard is mostly saving himself and the team, knowing that there's always a risk to run out of fuel at this time of the season. Sunday was a different story with the rest day coming up.

So yeah, I'd think this one should go to the break. And potentially a weak one, as it's a flat start, and Almeida (if he has the power to) will probably prefer to keep everyone with him.

Good to read that Bagioli tried to go in the break. Pedersen should too.

This is what happens when the sprint point is after 150 km -
"Peloton is still complete after 50 kilometer." No break.

Ayuso with a direct attack on UAE management in an interview calling it a dictatorship.
He said he didn't expect the announcement to be made in the middle of the Vuelta.
