No attack by Almeida whatsoever after all that work, Soler fully vindicated.

Vindicated by showing that he has energy, when the day Vingegaard put 40 seconds on Almeida with Soler without helping because he had benn dropped with the sprinters? Is it vindication to show that he had the strength and didn´t help the day his leader lost time?


We understand team cycling differently. Seeing that a domestique was able to prevent his leader from losing time in this way is shameful.

Vingegaard looked terrible there in my opinion. And Hindley only lost 4s in the end, I can't be convinced he was significantly weaker than Almeida and Vingegaard considering the pull he did into a headwind.
