This prologue was quite nice actually.
Can the real race start now, please?

And isn’t that the problem with thesesuperteams. Stacked with folk who should be riding GC, deliberately losing time and stagehunting from breaks. It’s not been a great GC year but this is the lowpoint for me. Nice to see Ganna win though.Vine should be riding for GC with somebody. When you can win mountain stages and flat TTs, it's time. He's too young to settle for being a domestique.
I'm OK with doing that to make a name for yourself or at the end of your career but Vine probably is on Pidcock`s level, with a much better TT, in this Vuelta. And isn’t that the problem with thesesuperteams. My eyes read it as 'TTT'.The Vuelta organizers should say: "Due to the TT shortening and concerns over the weekend stages we decided to correct our earlier mistake and do a modest 18 km ITT from Susa to Finestre on Sunday."

I think that route will compensate for the prologuesque TTT a couple of weeks ago.

Vine also competed for stage wins at Alpecin.Vine should be riding for GC with somebody. When you can win mountain stages and flat TTs, it's time. He's too young to settle for being a domestique.
Oh yeah, maybe Burgos can to contact the organizers and change the proposal to Bola del Mundo?Poor Burgos, though...
His climbing is nowhere near that of Pidcock here. Stage 9 is a very clean example of that.I'm OK with doing that to make a name for yourself or at the end of your career but Vine probably is on Pidcock`s level, with a much better TT, in this Vuelta.
There was an 8km ITT at the end of the Vuelta in 2014, and nobody liked it.how things change in 10 years, fans would have loved a 12 km TT during Sky years![]()
Considering he's never done the Tour, it's a bit hard to say for certain. That's taking into account that Vine's best GT is always the Vuelta. The tension is much higher in the Tour, and the Giro has more descents than the Vuelta.
