Kragh describing the conditions as "Perfect for a bit of soap race."

TV2 just showed the Visma-crash again; looked like Vingegaard was starting to get up before he'd even stopped sliding.

I don't see any other winner than Vingegaard, Ayuso, or Ciccone.

Almeida has improved in these finals, but in Switzerland he was beaten by Onley. I'd only put him as a fourth option.

Bernal has never been a rider with punch. Less since the accident.
Predictable. Only Ayuso has failed

Ayuso especially disappointing. These stage finishes are his style. Almeida has nothing to do to do with this route.
Ciccone looked good and is a podium contender. But at 30, never finished in the top 10 in a GT.

At what point do Q36 stop spending energy controlling all day on these types of stages? They did it for Pidcock in the Giro too and got nothing out of it.

Pretty impressive for an Idaho guy to be able to carry a conversation in another language (regardless of quality), so kudos to Jorgenson for that. Maybe he did learn something at Movistar after all ;)

I like Ryan but not on a finish like this in this sort of company. He needs to be in breaks for most of these stages outside of maybe the Bilbao stage
he said he would take it easy the first part of the race to hit breakaways later on, yeah.

Too bad Ciccone didn't manage to beat Vingegaard here. Great to see Bernal up there too.

A bit disappointing from Pidcock and the UAE leaders.
