So in an TTT if you fall off the back of your team because youre slow, or a mechanical or whatever, youre still on the course and teams coming up on you have to adapt if they encounter you in corners etc?

I don't see anything about hindering, or being obliged not to hinder, only that they cannot offer or receive help:

2.5.015 If a team is caught, it may neither lead, nor take advantage of riding in the slipstream of
the team that catches it. This clause shall equally apply to riders that drop behind. A rider
that has dropped behind may not join another team, nor receive or provide assistance.

I guess it depends how wedded they are to the idea of not being knocked flying on the next stage

Well that shook things up in the GC - UAE did it right and ran out winners. Visma seemed to mess up the middle section but it's still only seconds between the GC guys.
Last team Burgos only 1.44 down so not great differences between the teams.

IIRC Contador got divorced a few years ago but maybe it was because he kept stealing his now ex-wife's pants.

Also if you're going to make personal remarks about posters at least have the decency to quote them.
