Can be a snoozer to watch but the absolutely most intense to ride. Need total faith not only on the wheel you ride but everyone in front of you. There always is that one guy.....and the reality is at some part of the rotation he'll be several wheels in front of you. You start looking at any shoulder or head twitch as to what stupid move that rider may make. Meanwhile; everyone behind you is thinking the same thing...about you.
The speed is addictive, too.

This TTT was (unexpectedly) quite fun to watch. I found it great that basically all teams went full gas despite the fact that except the top 5 they knew before the start that they had no chance of winning and nothing to gain. But they went for it with all the risks involved anyway. Kudos to Lotto. Pure cycling.

AND there was suspense until the very end who would win the stage and who would take red. Whiteout ruining the upcoming GC battle by creating only small gaps.

What else do we need from a TTT stage?
So yes, please keep them in stage races.

It's ok to have a TTT if you also have 2x50 km ITTs to balance the difference the team makes for GC, since the team in a TTT can give the individual an unnatural advantage or, conversly, unnaturally penalize him, so it only seems fair. Given that GC is individual not team,
