Breschel has the best chance to win if they go hard on the last climb. Otherwise, if they only go moderately hard then Sagan. But i'll just go with Breschel. He has looked strong so far.

Anyone know why Ardila abandoned. Came in 10 minutes behind the grupetto on Sierra Nevada with Tshopp and didn't finish yesterday.

What if Vincenzo feels like having a go on the decent?...............

I doubt it is long enough, steep enough or technical enough to be worth it. It is 7 kilometers at about 5% followed by 3- 4 maybe more, I don't know where the finish is exaclty, flat.

Considering its a flat stage the next day, I think Katush will hit the front hard once again to test if somebody is having a bad day. Maybe even try to launch Moreno. (Probably wishful thinking). If Menchov is feeling good, it could be a good day to surprise and take back some time.

Taaramäe wrote in his blog that his plans for the following 2 stages is to recover and just finish with the sprinters. He will assess his shape after that and will see what he can do.

Taaramae also said the day before that he would take 3 days of recovery and not try anything :)

Lets hope BMC's invisible Vuelta so far will turn around and they will actually put a rider in the break and GVA will do something today.

The idea of a Grand Tour is that you race for three weeks. I know the Tour may have changed that perception somewhat, but even the flat stages should create the possibility of action - remember that flat stage of the Giro last year when all the GC men one-by-one made it into a break and Evans started punching Daniele Righi as if a Lampre domestique was responsible for BMC's lack of strength and ability to pull it back? Or Karpets doing a 45km solo to try and catch back up to the breakaway the day before Monte Grappa? Good times, good times.
The Vuelta usually has its fair share of incredibly boring sprint stages, so this comment is quite pedantic.

A finish in Cordoba... reminds me of the days when Lars Boom could climb.

My bet is for a break to survive with Barredo, Paulinho and Erviti or Lopez. In the end Movistar takes another stage.

Breschel crashed in the neutralisation. He is out of the race.

Bummer. He looked pretty good for the worlds.
Now his season is a total fiasco.

With Breschel for the sprint and Sanchez for the descent Rabo seemed to hold the aces for this stage

Wtf is this, I put money on Breschel to win the stage and he crashes out in the neutralized part-.-

Sagan, Boonen, Farrar. I think however it will be a chaotic run in to the finish. Watch for a late race break to challenge the sprinters. And if that happens who shall pull them back. Liquigas and QS have done enough work and Garmin is not as good a team as in the TDF. Skil Shimano don't have the firepower. Kittel however looks like a strong hope, i'm just worried about how his positioning will be. Breschel and GVA as surprises.

Kittel? No way he survives that climb.
