Once Sagan sped by Agnoli should have hit the breaks full force.

Great finish in any event. That was fun to watch.

And that's why bonuses suck. Impressive team riding should be rewarded equally whether it's an uphill sprint or a great descent.

Oh that was fail Agnoli. Otherwise an impressive display of descending by them. Guess where Agnoli is not riding at next season :D

Sagan had to win because Lastras played it perfectly, got behind Nibali, really Agnoli should have been leading out Nibali not Sagan.

Still Nibali has won 17 seconds on Rodriguez/Scarponi and 23 on most others. And that for a bit of descending.

Free time

Wiggins is never going to podium a GT if he keeps losing time on stages like this.

yep

Taking it was easy (if youve got the skills), getting that back will hurt.

It was like playing an older version of PCM, where you could TTT away from the peloton.

But they did. They got 17"+ over everyone else, that's their bonus for doing a great downhill. It's just with the bonifications Nibali could have got more.

The results are unreliable so far.

JvdBroeck and Mollema were 100% in that group but are missing in the result. So we'll have to wait until late in the evening again for correct results.. sigh.

edit: ah, they corrected it now

Didn't Nibali hurt himself there? They had Lastras boxed in and then Nibali moved away from the barriers, opening a gap for Lastras.

yes Nibali spent too much time looking around while the other Leekys had to race Lastras.

Always finish hard

They did more than a 900m sprint. They only gained time. An uphill sprinter got time +20 seconds. That's bull****.

Well that was an exciting bit of racing. Now for the main event: is USPCC better than P-N.

Super Liquigas. Contador tried the same to Pinerolo but only had Sanchez with him. (But the flat was longer and descent shorter too, maybe?)

Sagan is a rockstar. How many podium girls is he gonna bag in his career?

Ah, that's another discussion entirely. Was yesterday classified as a climb? I can understand if it was double mountain points, double bonifications + normal points classification. Double points would be a bit harsh though
