He's obviously suffering.
At that age i'd say: fuk the podium, get off your bike and we'll see you again around here in February.

I don't disagree. He is fighting hard, but there is no shame in quitting under these circumstances. he raced a fantastic race, and it is a shame that iinjury will rob him from his first GT podium.

i doubt he will quit tho, might fall way down in the GC though...

I thought it was always sunny in Spain... Why does it look like the start of the Vuelta again?

I read interesting news from the ToB... but will not mention it here!

can't say it..spoiler alert. And some people are quite particular about these things!

Looks like we are going to have some exciting racing up that last mountain, given Eusk efforts to haul in the break away...

SHUT UP!:p;)

Anyhow, this rain, if it closes in could even make the fight for first a bit interesting.

Yes, I am expecting Hushovd to make an appearance today!

it's on the tip of my tongue... what a hitchcockian suspense!!!

Let's focus on the Vuelta now, because the Spanish prince might get dethroned by the golden boy

and Hoogerland is, again, on the attack...

It's worse than in Assen and Liege combined! Ugh what a dreadful place to ride your bike....

You are just talking about the weather right?
I think Liege was actually voted 'ugliest place on earth' once :D

Sky and AG2R awarded pro tour licenses???

I already gave away enough clues in my prior post.

Liege is a really ugly place, I have been there a couple of times and seriously, I don't understand why it's still there. The ugliness should have enticed people to just migrate elsewhere and disband the city...

What an unfortunate year for the guy

1) AGR, injury missing Fleche and not on form in LBL
2) crash in TdF smothering his ambitions
3) crash in Vuelta bumping him from the podium

ugh :(

He is tough and will be back stronger than ever...will he even ride worlds? Who to replace him?
