I haven't ridden my bike in like 10 days because it's always over 37º. I'd need to get up at 8 am to go for a proper ride, but I lack the determination.

i have been going out at like 7 pm when its still 34 or so

3 days ago i went out at 5 pm and almost melted on the road

Either Martens, Hansen, Houanard, and Rosendo are on the attack, or Mollema, Reynes, Le Lay, and Toribio, depending on whether you trust the visual or the textual ticker.

I've tried doing that a couple of times, but I wait until 7:45-8 (so I only get 2 hours, top). Funny, I thought I'd be riding a lot more in summer than in winter. Give me cold and rain and mud, and cobbled classics to get me in the mood, please.

Omega Pharma just tweeted that Adam Hansen is in the breakaway, so likely the former.
Yeah, makes more sense anyway, because Mollema wants to ride for GC.

HTC will definetly chase with guys like Goss and Degenkolb. Garmin will certainly and of course Leopard Trek will do it's fair share. Rabo are a team who may not do the work.

Don't forget about Skill. They should try to get Kittel into sprint-action as often as they can, because it shouldn't be improbable for him to get a win or some podiums out of it.
Also if the race is hard enough buch-sprinter Geschke might be there for the win.

;)

There a couple of sprints coming up, does anybody know if they'll have bonus seconds at stake?

Is it my imagination or did coverage start with something less than 10km to go???

EDIT: Oops it was my imagination. Somehow I'm, watching the Vattenfall not the Vuelta as the stream heading indicated.

I know, i just woke up hung over, clicked the Vuelta link on sports-livez, and tried to figure out for a few seconds, why do they keep talking about G Thomas, Eddy Bos and Thor Hushovd neither one of which is riding the vuelta

The image quality should have given it away.

Vuelta coverage should start 5 minutes from now. (On that same stream, probably why the header said Vuelta.)

And then you'll see the difference between Hamburg and Alicante in late august. :D

LOL Cancellara motoring along overflowing with water bottles. What a tank that guy is. Like hiring two riders.
