I didn't see Kessiakoff all the way up that climb but he must have done well. Where did he finish?

Mollema in red! Surely this was the last time anyone else held the leaders jersey in the Vuelta the next 10 years!?

TGBM finally delivers on his promise!
Shame that Menchov lost unnecessary time a week ago. He looks good.
Dan Martin and Wiggins looked awesome today.
Could Wiggins win this?

Wow. This stage blew my mind. Wiggins pwning the crosswind on a 7% avg incline?

I never would've seen that coming.

I thought Scarponi would've learned from Etna how to handle this stage, but he's probably gone from contention now.

Anton is definitely gone from contention.

I'm going to root for Kessiakoff all the way now, obviously. He could well be second behind Lo Squalo tomorrow.

In the end though people were coming back in that last km, only gained himself 8" on Menchov and 15" on VDB2 in the end.

A great performance, but he's going to need something similar on La Manzaneda, as Menchov looks threatening still.

As I, bicing, see my feed and watch these images, a tear trickles down my cheek. A butterfly flutters inside my abdomen. My jaw locked open out of pure awe. I gently bow down, in front of mine feed, for The Great Bauke Mollema, is the new God.

I wish I had some Kessiacoffee (it really existed, just like Bäckstedt he had a brand of coffee) to celebrate.

A great stage, all in all.
