Now I actually think the TT in the tdf wont decide anything. Froome might still be better than Bertie and Quintana, but still the two just smash everyone else in a TT so they really don't have to worry. The ITT in the tour is maybe a bit flatter but still very hilly.

The tt's in pais vasco are always extremely technical. I dont think we can compare them.

I think (i repeat I THINK) that Contador has an advantage over Froome in a TT like this, but in the TdF it isn't comparable.
País Vasco TTs can almost never be taken into account in a traditional TT comparison because flat terrain is at an absolute premium, but this was an extreme case, even compared to the Oñati course with two short steep climbs and narrow rainy descents in 2012.

Finally a big win this season. Would have been lame if he wont win the tdf and the only thing on his palmares for his last season is a stage win in Algarve :D

It's a shame for Henao. Hope he wins this race in the future. Third time he's the leader at the start of the last TT and third time he loses the jersey. Will really be rooting for him next time he races here.

Very happy for Contador though!

Those football pitches they're showing look soooo familiar to me... ahahaha.

How was Quintana's bike change possibly fair? I know it didn't have any implication on the end results, but the guy got pushed up three quarters of a ramp...

It's fair to get a push after a mechanical or a fall, but a push up a climb like that after a pre-planned change? I know everyone does it but it's really not fair when you think about it

Contador actually took on risks on the descent, that's the only reason it was somewhat close at the end. Great ride by Contador (and honestly aggressive descending by Henao to minimize the time loss)
