So what to expect for today?

The beginning of the stage will be pretty hard to control. The leader Covi is just with 4 teammates here. And there is no need to hold power back for the end in this stage, so I am curious how this stage will be ridden..
I just dont think he is that well suited to these super explosive finishes. He has decent punch of course, but has he ever won on a finish like this outside of Oman? He seems to prefer shallower gradients and more grinding effortsWhat happened to Lutsenko? I thought he'd be the favourite today after his showing a couple of days ago in Clasica Jaen.
Covi super strong.
Well for stage win perspective perhaps true. But he and his team have to take care, that no GC threat will be in the break today and tomorrow. Because there aren´t a lot of teams who have an interest in a controlled race here..For Covi only last stage important. But with him leggs can win that stage...
Good showing from Covi, the new Killer!
Intermache in all honour, but they alone couldn´t control a 20 man break with strong riders in it, if the World tour teams really would have tried it.. so for me this break is a waste opportunity for a lot of teams in this race.. I have Ghirmay in my CQ team, so I won´t complain..I don't get why people expected so much out of this stage. Intermarché has showed they want Ghirmay to win this one and tomorrows stage is better suited for attackers with that hard first climb where you simply can't control who goes and who doesn't.
I don't see any one team being able to control that for a sprint. Gonna be a strong break once it sticks cos everyone's gonna want to be in there
Ghirmay has no chance of getting over these climbs when the GC riders are coming to play, makes sense that they waited until the flat.Intermarche is actually doing nothing to control the break and leaving all of the work to UAE which is down to three riders. Attacks now coming from the peloton (Kamna). Could become interesting.
